The Centre for the Support of Prisoners (CSP), a local Kenyan NGO was founded in 2007 in a bid to complement the Government’s efforts in ex-prisoner welfare and particularly to improve the quality of life of prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families. It works in both urban and rural areas, and in particular among underprivileged communities.

Radio Mang'elete is a community radio station in Kenya, owned by 33 women groups. Mang'elete is located in a small town called Nthongoni, which is 14km from Mtito-andei town, 4km from Chyullu hills and 3km from Tsavo west National park.

In the year 2011, Mang'elete received funding from Akiba Uhaki Foundation to support the sustainability strategies for the Community Radio, as the first phase of the implementation of their strategic plan (2011- 2015), earlier developed with support from Akiba Uhaki Foundation

The Pastoral Women's Alliance to Break Cultural Chains (PWABC) is an organization that works to challenge and reform retrogressive cultural practices and beliefs that entrench human rights violations against girls and women in rural Rukoola Kiboga District in Uganda. PWABC was started by ten community members to strongly campaign against archaic cultural practices like wife sharing, young girls abduction into forced premature marriages, denial of women’s rights to property ownership, domestic violence and forced widow inheritance.

The Tanzania Community Legal Training Association(TACOLTA) is a not-for-profit Organization that strategically works towards the advancement of social justice and entrenchment of a human rights culture in Tanzania through provision of legal training to the poor and marginalized parts of the Tanzania Community and strengthening civic competence towards access to social justice and equitable development. The Organization which was established in 2007, was meant to bridge the legal knowledge gap existing in most of Tanzania communities, a gap which has far reaching negative consequences in the administration of justice and the access to justice.

The National Convention Executive Council (NCEC) is the executive arm(implementor of programs and policies of the National Convention Assembly(NCA). NCA is a not for profit Kenyan Citizens Movement for reforms deeply entrenched in the national and regional political and policy processes in Kenya.

The Institute of Kenyan South Asians History and Culture (IKSAH) is an organization that works to promote greater interaction between various races and advance inclusion of South Asian History and culture into the mainstream and national discourse as well as develop a consciousness of nationhood through respect of human rights and social justice. The Komarocks Community Development Network (KCDN) is a registered Community Based Organization(CBO) based at Komarock Phase 2, Nairobi which works in partnership with various community and national partners to support the realisation of the right to education of orphaned and vulnerable children in the area as well as to offer civil education to area residents on key issues affecting their livelihoods as well as fundamental national issues with a view to creating civic awareness on the issues of governance and human rights as they affect the local people and how they can become active participants in the governance process in the country.

It also incorporates other other like-minded organizations, Civil Society Agencies, NGO’s, Youth groups, Faith Based Organisations, Social Movements and grass roots organization and Networks from all of the eight provinces of Kenya.
