Through our Programs Department, Akiba Uhaki Foundation offers grants to Human Rights and Social Justice Organizations in the East African region, up to a current limit of Kshs. 500,000 for organizations within Kenya and USD 6,500 for organizations from Burundi, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania.

Eligibility for application for our grants is open to human rights and social justice organizations, both formal and informal entities including Faith Based Organisations(FBOs), student organisations, women’s and youth organisation, within the East Africa region(Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi).
